The YCLA: Who We Are
The Young Christian Leaders' Alliance is a large group of Bible-believing young people from numerous places across the United States.  Our purpose is to help each other learn and mobilize, in a Christ-like attitude and character, to proclaim the Truth of God's Word!  Please become involved with us to reclaim America for the Biblical worldview.

Join the Young Christian Leaders' Alliance!
If you are a young person between 10 and 21 years old, you may become a voting member.  You must be a born-again believer in Christ, with the right attitude, and a view for serving others.  You must agree to our Constitution, participate in at least two meetings or activities, and have your parents' approval before joining.  Finally, you will be certified by our Board.  If you have an interest in our group, please visit our "Join Us" page!  Also, we would be glad to sign you up for our email list (ycla@youngchristianleaders.org).

BEAMS Advancement System and Outreach

The acronym BEAMS stands for "Becoming Energetic And Mobilized Servants."  The endeavor is part of a move away from a socio-political emphasis and towards a broader view of Christian character, service, and leadership, as embodied in the YCLA name.

Check out the full 2009 "BEAMVISION" Handbook!  The Handbook is also now complete in e-book form, which may be viewed here(We recommend using the y-Book Reader to view this text, which may be downloaded for free.)

The YCLA: What We Stand For

The YCLA vision is one of enthusiasm for the Biblical worldview and the amazing message of the Good News.  The Biblical worldview means living Christianity everywhere we are. We, along with our parents and other overseers, wish to challenge other young people to be examples of Christ, and serve and lead for lawful, Christian principles in America.  We believe that the Bible should be supreme in all areas of life.

Today, there exists a definite crisis, which is made clear everywhere from corruption in politics to naturalistic bias in "science," and from the failings of the government education system and the economy to a loss of morality among our own individual families and communities.  We believe that crisis is caused by a concept called moral relativism.  Moral relativism is the lack of an external moral standard (or "locus point"), which in turn causes the lack of a possibility for real justice, security, or purpose for life.  It is only in trusting and living God's Word as the Standard that our country can be reclaimed.

Operation Pi (Prayer Initiative)

What:  100 schools with at least 2 people each who commit to pray together for their church or school on a regular basis; optimum is once a day (Homeschoolers can pray for their home school, or for their family in general)

Who: Kids and young adults with a heart for Christ and others

Where:  Anywhere

When:  25 schools by the end of 2009 / 75 more by the end of 2010

Why:  Because we need God’s strength and guidance!

Other reasons:  1. To enable young people to see the power of prayer   2. To provide a clear setting to thank God and acknowledge His work to others   3. To bring together core groups of young people for future YCLA activities

How: Email and web forum invitations; personal setting up of these groups by our contacts; word-of-mouth in church groups, etc.

Please let us know by emailing ycla@youngchristianleaders.org if you would like to help us reach the goal!

"Have you ever wondered whether a group could exist, established and run by excited and principled young people, which trumpeted the Truth of the Bible and worked together as a team to learn leadership and character skills for life?  The Young Christian Leader’s Alliance is such a group!  If you are someone who has asked, “Where are all the other principled young people?” the YCLA is for you."  -From our new Home Page

Many young people settle for being Young "Christian-ish" Followers.

Some become committed as Young Christians.

Only a few give the extra effort to be Young Christian Leaders.

A Young Christian Leader is really just a normal young person who decides to be a servant in everyday life.

He is one who is truly dedicated to the authority of God's Word, and has a vision for changing and reforming the world around him.

He does not work to stand out or be popular, but if he should attain the attention of others, he strives to use it as a resource for better service and influence.

He is one who acknowledges God and praises Him for both success and seeming failure.

He defends the Truth with everything he has.

He will be Rewarded.

Make the decision - give God everything!
