About the YCLA
The Young Christian Leaders’ Alliance is a network of Bible-believing youth who are serving together to support a new Biblical reformation in America. Our objective is to develop a team of service-minded, respectful, God-fearing young people to take action for Christ and reclaim our culture for the Biblical worldview.

Resource Site Purpose
This website is being developed as a place to equip pastors, youth, and youth leaders to effectively teach Biblical principles.  We want to provide energy, coordination, and a fresh look at the timeless truths of God's Word, to "stir up" a new generation of leadership and reformation in the church (II Timothy 2:6-7).  View our home page at www.YCLAlliance.org!

What "Reformation" Do We Support?
The YCLA emphasizes the fact that the modern church, as well as Western culture as a whole, is in need of a new reformation.  That reformation is one of Biblical authority and Christ-like, righteous living.
The church must not be a business enterprise, nor a simple social fellowship, but a community of believers who are edifying each other, being trained in Christ's teaching, and obeying Christ's commands through His power (Ephesians 6:10) and by His Spirit (Zechariah 4:6).  In short, believers must live in such a way that both their life and their words proclaim Jesus as the only Creator, Savior, and Lord (Matthew 28:18-20).

Be Trained in Servant-Leadership for Christ

The acronym BEAMS stands for "Becoming Energetic And Mobilized Servants."  This program teaches helpful leadership and service concepts for youth seeking to effectively promote the Biblical worldview.  All the concepts are organized in a series of ranks for those who want a further challenge.  Look for the revised 2011 edition to be posted here soon!  Click here for more info on the BEAMS system.  A CD-ROM edition of the 2010 BEAMS Handbook has been completed and is now available. Standing for the Word of God

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.  I Timothy 4:12

The YCLA vision involves enthusiasm for the Biblical worldview and the amazing message of the Good News.  The Biblical worldview means living Christianity everywhere we are.
It is our goal to challenge ourselves and youth around us to be examples of Christ.  We wish to provide resources to serve and lead for lawful, Christian principles in America.  We believe that the Bible should be supreme in all areas of life.  It is not enough to uphold it in certain areas; Biblical principles extend to all of politics, science, education, and more.

There is a crisis in America today.  Seemingly unsolvable problems are everywhere, from corruption in politics to a decline in science, and from the failings of the government education system and the economy to a loss of morality among our own families and communities.  We believe that this crisis is caused by an influence called moral relativism.

Moral relativism is the lack of a standard for right and wrong.  This outlook forces individuals to follow only their own personal opinions and reason, and causes the lack of a possibility for real justice, security, or purpose for life.  Much of the problem has been created by the insidious undercurrent in our society which is the Evolutionary worldview.  It is only in living God's Word as the inspired, absolute Standard that our country and its freedoms can be reclaimed.

Many people are leaders.  Almost everyone has a sphere of influence.

But who can be a Young Christian Leader?

A Young Christian Leader is just a normal young person who decides to be a servant in everyday life.

He is one who is truly dedicated to the authority of God's Word, and has a vision for changing and reforming the world around him.

He gives up his own time and resources to further the growth of others.

He does not work to stand out or be popular, but if he should attain the attention of others, he strives to use it in servanthood to better present Christ.

He is one who knows his Creator and praises Him for both success and seeming failure.

He defends the Truth with everything he has.

He will be Rewarded.

Make the Decision - Be a Servant - Be a Leader.
