What Can We Do?

What can an individual do to affect the culture?
Each of us can affect the immediate world around us, and added up, it can make a big difference!
Below are some suggestions we can use creatively to influence.
PRAY.
The ability to pray and fast is the biggest asset we have. God's power is unimaginable, and thus with Him working through us we will always see remarkable results!

Community outreaches -
The most basic element to effective impact is simply doing good in our neighborhoods, churches, school groups, and more. We can be an example of what true principle is, by living in Christ, in our everyday lives. Hard work, a servant's attitude, and a genuine interest in others are important places to start!
Activism and communication -
As citizens of these United States, we have the privilege of directly addressing our representatives on issues of concern to us. This may be accomplished by writing, phone calls, e-mail, or, best of all, a personal visit. Also, as part of the body of Christ, we can meekly but strongly speak up on issues of concern to us. For example, meet after church with a pastor, or talk to other young believers at school or a youth fellowship.
Attending meetings, seminars, and rallies -
Youth participating in the functions of a Biblically-principled organization is always encouraging to the members of that organization. It also can provide a wonderful time of learning for us, and a launchpad from which we can gain many opportunities and experiences. If a time of questions and answers is sponsored, it is often a perfect setting to both uplift a godly speaker by showing you have been listening, as well as to find more wisdom and knowledge on the subject being addressed, through asking questions.
Providing web resources -
There is much need for Biblically-minded Christian voices online. We can not only provide a great deal of information and ideas on the web, we can work online to assemble the basis of a nerve-center for groups which share Biblical principles. Join our online network center here!
Distributing literature -
Finally, we can distribute tracts and educational literature anywhere we go. Creativity is the key - leaving a witness behind is excellent, but sometimes it is appropriate to personally hand someone the material and ask a striking question! You can easily plant a seed in many cases without even addressing an issue. However, God may give you the opportunity to continue a discussion and win a friend over to Christ, or to a fuller understanding of the Biblical worldview.
